Welcome to BeachMate, operated by BlueSync Pty Ltd ("we," "our," "us"). By downloading, accessing, or using the BeachMate mobile app or website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using the service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using BeachMate, you confirm that you:
- Are at least 16 years old.
- Have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, you must not use BeachMate.
2. Description of Service
BeachMate is a location-based community platform that allows users to:
- View, upload, and share short videos of beaches and surfing conditions.
- Discover nearby beaches based on GPS location.
- Comment, like, or report videos.
- Communicate within the BeachMate community in a respectful manner.
3. User Accounts
To use certain features, you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for:
- Keeping your login credentials secure.
- Any activity under your account.
- Providing accurate, up-to-date information.
We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms or our community guidelines.
4. User Content
When you upload content (such as videos, photos, or comments), you:
- Retain ownership of your content.
- Grant BeachMate a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and share that content within the app.
- Agree that your content must comply with our community standards and must not include:
- Nudity, hate speech, or violence.
- Misleading or illegal content.
- Copyrighted material without permission.
We reserve the right to remove or moderate any content that violates these Terms or receives user reports.
5. Location Data
BeachMate uses your device location (when permitted) to:
- Display nearby beaches and conditions.
- Improve location-based recommendations.
You can disable location sharing in your device settings, but some features may not function properly.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use BeachMate for illegal purposes.
- Upload or share offensive, defamatory, or harmful content.
- Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or disrupt our services.
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity.
7. Content Moderation
BeachMate employs automated and manual moderation tools. We may remove content or suspend users who:
- Repeatedly violate policies.
- Upload explicit or abusive material.
- Engage in harassment or spam.
Reports are reviewed by the admin team; repeat violations may result in account termination.
8. Intellectual Property
All logos, names, UI designs, and features of BeachMate are the property of BlueSync Pty Ltd and protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not use our trademarks or branding without written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
BeachMate provides all information "as is." We do not guarantee the accuracy of video content, weather conditions, or beach details.
We are not responsible for:
- User-submitted content.
- Personal injury, damage, or losses arising from using the app.
- Network or connectivity issues.
Use of BeachMate is at your own risk.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms or misuse the app.

We may modify these Terms occasionally. The updated version will be posted in the app or website, and continued use implies acceptance.
